Operlane is a founder-led business systems consultancy. Many operating problems do not live inside one application—they live in the handoffs between people, software, field work, approvals, and reporting.

Before recommending software, integration, automation, a custom application, or AI, Operlane looks for the business constraint and the workflow around it. The goal is a clearer decision:

Who runs Operlane

Operlane is run by Daniel Haines.

Dan is a systems integration and automation builder based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He works across business applications, internal tools, integrations, data workflows, and infrastructure—the connective work that sits between the software a business has already bought.

Before Operlane, he spent years in hands-on technical operations, including as IT manager at a Pennsylvania security-services company, where he was responsible for business applications, custom internal tools, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and the workflows tying scheduling, customer records, billing, reporting, and field work together. He has also led university robotics projects and built production data and automation pipelines.

He started an independent systems practice in October 2025 and formed Operlane Systems LLC in July 2026.

His working approach is consistent: map the current workflow before recommending a build, keep scope and ownership explicit, and prefer the smallest change that resolves the real constraint.

Hands-on with: CRM, ERP, billing, scheduling, field-service, reporting, and Microsoft 365 integrations—connecting existing business systems through REST APIs, webhooks, data synchronization, SQL, and workflow automation.
