Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy explains how Operlane Systems LLC (“Operlane,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected through operlane.systems and through inquiries submitted from the website. It does not govern information that Operlane receives under a separate client agreement, statement of work, or other written notice.

Information you provide

When you submit an inquiry, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, work email address, company, role, inquiry category, and a high-level description of the process or need you want to discuss. Please do not include passwords, production credentials, sensitive personal information, or confidential records in an initial inquiry.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its content and performance. The site may measure page views, page titles, referrer information, device and browser characteristics, and broad engagement events such as scroll depth, contact-call-to-action selections, contact-form starts, incomplete drafts, and successful inquiry submissions.

Operlane does not intentionally send your name, email address, company name, role, message text, form-field values, credentials, or other inquiry content to Google Analytics. Google may collect and process technical information, cookies or similar identifiers, and usage information under its own terms and privacy practices. Analytics loads after a meaningful interaction or a short idle period. You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies; doing so may affect analytics measurement but should not prevent you from submitting an inquiry.

Security and abuse prevention

Our inquiry process uses Cloudflare Turnstile and other technical safeguards to help prevent spam, fraud, and abuse. We do not retain raw IP addresses or user-agent strings in the inquiry database. We may use non-reversible, keyed technical hashes for limited rate-limiting and abuse-review purposes.

How we use information

• Assess whether a potential conversation is appropriate for Operlane.
• Protect the website and inquiry process from spam, fraud, and misuse.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the website.
• Understand aggregate website engagement and conversion paths.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use website analytics for advertising retargeting, cross-site profiling, session replay, keystroke capture, or form-field analytics.

Service providers and disclosures

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website and inquiry process, only as needed for those services. These include Google Analytics for website measurement, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot prevention, Google Workspace / Gmail API for inquiry notifications, and hosting, infrastructure, and security providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.

Inquiry storage and retention

Inquiry data is encrypted before storage. Current operational retention periods are up to 7 days for incomplete inquiry drafts, up to 14 days for rejected bot-event metadata, and up to 90 days for completed inquiries. We may retain information longer when necessary to resolve a request, meet a legal obligation, protect our rights, or maintain required business records.

Your privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email contact@operlane.systems with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your request before taking action, and rights or exceptions may vary by jurisdiction.

Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. The website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy as our website, services, or legal obligations change; the current version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
